The House of Bernarda Alba
Written by Federico Garcia Lorca

Upon her second husband's death, domineering matriarch Bernarda Alba imposes an eight-year mourning period on her household in accordance with her family tradition. Bernarda has five daughters, aged between 20 and 39, whom she has controlled inexorably and prohibited from any form of relationship.

Kiss Of The Spider Woman
Written by Manuel Puig

The story tells of two very different individuals who share a prison cell in Brazil during the Brazilian military government: Valentin Arregui, who is imprisoned (and has been tortured) due to his activities on behalf of a leftist revolutionary group, and Luis Molina, an effeminate homosexual in prison for having sex with an underage boy.

Molina passes the time by recounting memories from one of his favorite films, a wartime romantic thriller that's also a Nazi propaganda film. He weaves the characters into a narrative meant to comfort Valentin and distract him from the harsh realities of political imprisonment and separation from his lover, Marta. As the story progresses, an unlikely friendship develops between the two.

Los empeños de la casa
Written by Juana Ines de la Cruz

(House of Desires) by the famous mexican playwright and scholar, Sor Juan Inés de la Cruz.  Part of this play will be performed in both Spanish and English, but all will understand the farcical and hilarious, yet strong poignancy, of young lovers discovering their own value and worth as they maneuver and weave their way through the early 20th century streets of Buenos Aires.

Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike
Written by Christopher Durang

Middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia share a home in Bucks County, PA, where they bicker and complain about the circumstances of their lives.   Suddenly, their movie-star sister, Masha, swoops in with her new boy toy, Spike.  Old resentments flare up, eventually leading to threats to sell the house.  Also, on the scene are sassy maid Cassandra, who can predict the future, and a lovely young aspiring actress named Nina, whose prettiness somewhat worries the imperious Masha.
